EV Test Technician

MillTech is working with a client in Milton Keynes who have consistently grown over the past few years due to the high demand for the testing services in ICE, Hybrid and EV.

The team has seen significant growth in the EV and high voltage testing and looking to add a Test Technician to work on customer projects at their purpose-built state-of-the art EV Testing Facility

Your responsibilities within the EV team will include the following:

• Work in the EV powertrain and battery Dyno testing department on customer projects
• Operate multiple high voltage test rigs using defined test methods and scripts
• Debugging and commissioning of complex electronic systems with high-speed serial interfaces (CAN / FLEXRAY et.)
• Work on the support of the installation and calibration of data acquisition systems
• Support other team members, suppliers and customers in providing updates when needed
• Work closely with the Engineers and Project teams ensuring customer satisfaction
• Mechanical and electrical assembly & disassembly

To succeed in this position, you must have a proven background in Dyno operation on EDU (electric drive unit) or Battery testing projects and hold a qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
